I am writing to commend Qualicoat on your performance In powder coating services
provided to the Hobby Eberly Telescope Project. With the largest primary mirror in the
world, the HET requires high precision and well controlled quality. These needs were
clearly met with the services you provided in powder coating of our mirror support frame
components.
The frames featured difficult geometric shapes and several coating companies no-bid the
work because they doubted their ability to meet the requirements. Frames coated by
Qualicoat have met or exceeded all requirements, been provided with a timely delivery,
and well packed and shipped, arriving on site in pristine condition.
We particularly appreciate your willingness to store the frames until we are able to pick
them up in concert with our mirror transportation.
I would not hesitate to recommend Qualicoat to another project or to use your services

Now that the rails are finished and being installed, I want
to express my appreciation for the professionalism and hard
work which Qualicoat put forth in bringing this project to a
complete and timely conclusion. Qualicoat's tenacity made
our ability to organize a much easier task, and informing you
in advance of upcoming jobs paid off.
The organization of delivery times was great and you made
every effort to accommodate us, even in having your personnel
assist with the loading of the trucks. The wrapping to
prevent damage and preparation of the rails for shipping was
a quality job.
The professionalism of the people in your organization made
it possible for Mison to completely satisfy our client. The
quality of the powder coat application was excellent. The
architects and Guggenheim personnel have inspected the rail
and are very pleased with the paint job. In fact they have
raved about it.
It is obvious that everyone at Qualicoat, from management to
shipping takes real pride in doing quality work. I commend
you for the input and the desire to turn out a quality
project. I would not hesitate to use Qualicoat for future
projects, and I would highly recommend you to anyone needing
